2014 Team Canada Spengler Cup Roster and Game Highlights

Hockey Canada announced earlier this month the team that would be again participating in the Spengler Cup, a storied challenge cup tournament held in Davos, Switzerland which to my surprise included current Toronto Marlie defenseman Brendan Mikkelson and former goalie Drew McIntyre. Hockey Canada had made a decision to pull Canadian’s not just from the Swiss league this year but from across the globe including the AHL. Coached by Guy Boucher, the entire roster can be found below and includes former NHL players Ryan Parent, Jim Vandermeer, Marc-Andre Gragnani and Bryon Ritchie as team captain.

Here are the first 3 games and the respective highlights for Canada, if I can find the full game reviews I will add them as I am able.

Team Canada vs HC Davos – Highlights (Canada lost 1 – 2)

Team Canada vs Medvescak Zagreb – Highlights (Canada won 3 – 1)

Team Canada vs Jokerit Helsinki – Highlights (Canada won 5 – 2)

If you haven’t seen the game yet, see the below for the semi final vs HC Geneve-Servette which was definitely worth the watch.
